1965 Chevrolet Corvette

A fresh build with fewer than 1,200 miles on the odometer, this frame-off restored 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Resto Mod convertible has as its foundation an SRIII Motorsports chassis using C5 Corvette front suspension and multi-link rear suspension with a C4 3.73-geared Dana 44 rear end. QA1 coilover shocks and C4-C5 disc brakes are used at all four corners, and the car rolls on Nitto radials fitted to aftermarket Corvette Grand Sport wheels. The LS1 engine uses an LS6 intake, Iskendarian cam and tube headers to generate 400 HP, with spent gasses exiting via custom aftermarket exhaust feeding factory side pipes. Complementing the car’s Silver and Maroon color scheme is a matching Al Knoch interior incorporating 2001 Corvette seats, power windows and cruise control, a billet steering wheel on a tilt column, Vintage Air, Dakota Digital analog gauges and hideaway sound system by Custom Auto Sound.
