Over its 30 years of life, the Ford Bronco was a workhorse for generations of Americans. Whether it was carrying farmers across plowed fields, taking hunters out into the woods, or towing trailers, it did it all. Their vintage looks and the nostalgia factor have made prices skyrocket. First generation Broncos in perfect condition go for around $50K on average, and have been known to go for more than $100K. This particular Bronco goes for even more. Designed and built by ICON4x4 of Los Angeles, the Old School BR leaves the truck largely aesthetically unchanged, but look closer, and you’ll start noticing the upgrades.

Firstly, the body is has been painstakingly restored, and draws on elements from the Sport, Explorer, and Ranger trims. The headlights have been replaced with LED lights while their covers remain original. The Icon badging emulates the Bronco’s original badges, and the car can be finished in any color, so long as it’s matte. Inside, the car has undergone many more changes. The steering wheel has come from a first-gen Ford Mustang, mounted to a tilting column. The power windows are operated by switches embedded under old window cranks, while a set of Focal speakers provide the soundtrack to your journey. The seats are finished in vinyl, and the soundproofing prevents the engine overriding any conversation, a la the old Land Rover Defenders. Dakota Digital gauges have also been mounted in the dash.

The mechanicals are equally beautiful. An Art Morrison chassis, along with Dynatrac axels and Fox Racing suspension support the truck. Power comes from a Ford Coyote V8 that provides 426 horsepower. The exhaust system is a stainless steel setup by Borla, and customers can choose from either a five-speed manual or an automatic transmission with overdrive. The new Billet wheels hide Brembo discs. The base cost is $195K, but if you want a capable off-road vehicle with amazing vintage looks, you couldn’t choose a better truck.
