As a one-year-only model, the 1958 Impala is uniquely suited to the Resto Modding treatment performed on this tastefully stylized 2-door hardtop. A frame-off build completed to outstanding quality, it stays faithful to the original in its exterior presentation and detailing, retaining superb factory chrome and stainless trim over brilliant red lacquer.

Only the staggered 18- and 20-inch Billet Specialties wheels and radial tires visually depart from factory original style. It’s a different story beneath the surface, however, beginning with the glittering fuel-injected 502/502 HP Ramjet crate engine contained up front, and continuing with a stylishly crafted ostrich-leather interior fitted with tinted glass, power windows, air conditioning, digital gauges and AM/FM/CD stereo.
