Upgrades and modifications
Engine:
Professionally built and balanced 440 C.I.D. BB/RB Engine. New pistons, rods, rings, camshaft, cam, rod and main bearings, oil pump, valve guides, valve springs, valves, retainers and locks. Pistons and rods have been “gram-matched” for balance. All new seals, fuel pump, motor mounts and brackets.
Transmission:
Transmission was tested and the following components replaced. Input and output seals, pan gasket, filter and fluid, mounts, pump seals and gaskets and new stator steel rings. New B&M floor shifter.
Cooling system:
New, 3 row aluminum radiator with electric cooling fan, water pump, heater core, belts, hoses, clamps, cap and recovery tank. System is set to run at 180F.
Exhaust:
Pro-comp headers with all new header-back dual exhaust system, clamps and hangers.
Chassis and steering:
New QA1 tubular K-frame. New Borgeson 14:1 ratio power steering gear system. New upper control arms and bushings. Rebuilt lower control arms with new bushings, pivot pins and snubbers. All new tie-rod and drag-link ends. New idler arm and bushings. New radius rod bushings. New Flaming River steering coupler as well as all new ball joints and spindles. New torsion bar retainers and dust boots, new wheel bearings and seals. Vehicle is set at stock ride height.
Brakes:
New Wilwood master cylinder and brake booster, calipers, drilled and slotted front rotors and pads. New stainless steel brake hoses. New rear shoes, hardware, wheel cylinders, drums and hardware.
Tires and wheels:
New 17” American Racing Magnum 500 aluminum wheels. 17x8 front and 17x9 rears. New BF Goodrich G-Force Comp 2 tires. 235/45/17 front and 275/40/17 rear. New lug nuts.
Electrical:
New alternator. New headlight, marker light, turn signal and brake light bulbs. New turn signal switch, wiper motor, stereo and four speakers. Stereo has Bluetooth and USB connectivity. New factory antenna. Instrument cluster has been refurbished with all gauges working as they should. New wiper motor.
Interior:
All new door panels, arm rests, door pull cups, package tray, sail panels, rear side panels, sun visors, and upholstery. New factory floor insulation and carpet. Seat backs have been restored. Heater box and controls have all been restored including all new seals, gaskets, damper door pads and pivots. New window track hardware and bushings. Steering column has been refurbished including new floor shift style collars. (Was originally a column shift car).
Body and exterior:
New bumpers and windshield moldings. All new weather stripping and seals. All new rubber bump-stops inside and out. New glove box, wiper arms and blades. New headlight trims and inner fender splash shields and hardware.
New u-joints and pinion seal and differential fluid.
