Mecum Anaheim: The top 10 cars that broke the bank

The top 10 most expensive cars sold at Mecum Anaheim this weekend were a little surprising to me. Maybe because auto auctions are always an interesting display of cat and mouse. Buyers throwing their “measuring sticks” on the table hoping to get a car that they have deemed a must-have grail. Seeing a person spend more on a car than I will make in a lifetime is hard to describe. Self indulgent and foolish are a couple words that cross my mind but that’s because I’m man enough to admit I am just jealous. The truth is, I would love to be there with the cool guys and drop massive amounts of disposable income on my dream-car, a 62′ Ford Falcon Futura. Someday boys…someday. Anyway, I digress. So what did the wealthy folks of Los Angeles buy this past week at the auction in Anaheim,CA? Check out the list and let us know if you think they got it right and spent their money wisely.
