1963 CHEVROLET CORVETTE
LS3/500 HP

Completed by Hayes in March 2015, it begins with a custom fabricated tube steel chassis designed to accept Corvette C5 front suspension and C6 rear suspension. From that point it is a matter of choice when it comes to powertrains and accessories; in this case, a C6 Corvette LS3 all-aluminum V-8 with electronic fuel injection and a hot cam delivers 500 HP to a GM 4L70E 5-speed automatic transmission and C6 rear end. A Wilwood master cylinder and plumbing feed a new four-wheel disc brake system with six-piston calipers and drilled and slotted rotors, all sourced from the very capable ZR1. That brake system works on new GM 8.5×18-inch front and 12×19-inch rear Spider alloy wheels shod with Nitto Performance Invo tires.
