Rare Bird: 1969 Ford Mustang BOSS 429

A fully restored rare 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 makes an appearance on Jay Lenos Garage and its a helluva ride. Jay speaks with Markus Anghel who restored the car over a period of years and they go through the entire vehicle and it’s place in car history. The 429 was actually tuned down for the street versions to a 375hp as emission ratings started to become more stringent. This version has the fully restored shotgun engine, that was originally going to be used in the Galaxy but an engineer wanted it into a Mustang, hence the BOSS and its larger engine compartment.Take the few minutes to watch this one, trust me.
