RestoMods Will Be At SEMA Show 2025

October 13, 2025

SEMA Show 2025 is coming this November, and with it a bunch of exciting news. The last time we brought a showstopping RestoMod build out to the SEMA Show was back in 2023. We brought the silver supercharged 1969 Chevy Chevelle (formely known as the RM22 giveaway car) to display in the BluePrint Engines booth. Though that amazing car is now long gone (now in the hands of RM26 Winner Michelle Doland), we have some exciting news that we will be returning to SEMA Show this year with not just one, but a few RestoMod builds in tow! But before we get into those details, let’s quickly look back on what we experienced at SEMA Show last year in 2024.

Last Year’s SEMA Show Saw Some Major New Products

  1. BluePrint Engines brought out the newest big guns – Our go to supplier of crate engines debuted an array of new options for classic muscle car builders of all types and brand loyalties: whether you’re a Ford, GM, or Mopar enthusiast, Blueprint has what you need to get your classic back on the road. GM fans were particularly enthusiastic about BluePrint’s new 400ci small block V8 that has multi-port fuel injection and throttle body for those that want the classic fit and feel of a timeless GM small block but the modern reliable fuel delivery of an LS. They also debuted their 427ci LS + ZF 8-speed automatic drop in package that will add plenty of modern performance. They also showed off their powerful LS and HEMI engines that, despite having horsepower numbers in the 800s and beyond, still come with warranties.
  2. QA1 rolled out new suspension kits for even more platforms – In addition to all the timeless makes and models you can order QA1 for like Dodge Chargers, Ford Mustangs, and Chevy Chevelles, QA1 debuted their new suspension products for previously untouched platforms like fox body Mustangs and G-Body GM cars. Much like the pre-smog muscle cars RestoMods fans know and love, these 80’s and 90’s retro muscle machines are now entering classic status and are increasingly in need of suspension upgrades. We are big fans of QA1 and their deep product catalog; they make incredibly reliable and tunable products that make classics feel like new cars on the road.
  3. VintageAir is cooling out the competition – Like QA1, VintageAir debuted A/C products for retro muscle cars like fox body Mustangs and G-Body GMs. Not to be left out though, the Tri-Five Chevy crowd got lots of love from VintageAir with some new A/C systems for their cars and trucks. Perhaps the coolest part about VintageAir’s products is that they’re made to look OEM as if they came from factory in the car, but the controls and control panels are all electronic for reliability. Some of the panels and switches even have LED lighting integrated into the classic design for more enhancements. These kinds of modern and retro features are what you’ll expect when shopping for a new GEN-5 kit from VintageAir.

Ringbrothers and Blazin’ Rodz Brought the Heat With Killer Builds

The world was blown away by the reveal of the Ringbrothers 1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda build, which was painted in a polarizing pink that looks like it could have actually been a factory color on Mopar’s wild color palette of the early 1970s. With a Hellcat Redeye supercharged HEMI under the hood that they affectionally nicknamed “Pink Eye”, this ‘Cuda joins a list of RestoMod builds that will surely be remembered for years to come. With HRE wheels and a fully redone white interior, it turned out one of our favorite cars of the show.

If you dream of extreme, overbuilt and just wild RestoMod builds, then this twin turbo 1970 Chevy Chevelle from Blazin’ Rodz was certainly the answer to your prayers. There wasn’t much left on this car that was still a Chevelle in origin, mostly because of how much was replaced to make it insanely fast and custom. Like the thumbnail above suggests, it’s packing 2,800 horsepower thanks to a twin turbo 540ci big block V8, which is just a bonkers power number especially for a classic muscle car. But now it handles and feels like a GT racing car with insane power under the hood. It was such a custom and unique build that it won awards at SEMA that year.

SEMA Show 2025

If you’re interested in premiere automotive aftermarket brands for all things RestoMods, we have some exciting interviews slated for this season:

  1. BluePrint Engines – Since we’ll have all three of our RestoMod builds at the Blueprint Engines outdoor booth, it’s only fitting that we have a chat with them about upcoming products they’ll be releasing in 2026.
  2. Wilwood Disc Brakes – Since RM8, nearly every single RestoMod build that we have given away has been equipped with Wilwood Disc Brakes. We’re super excited to get to talk to them on video to see what innovations they’re coming out with for classic muscle cars.
  3. SilverSport Transmissions – The first time we put a SilverSport Transmission in one of our builds, we were so impressed with the feel of every shift that it became a household name around the shop. They make transmissions for many applications and we’re stoked to get the chance to talk with them on video for you guys.
  4. FiTech Fuel Injection – When we gave away RM9, a 1969 Dodge Charger, we partnered with FiTech to give it a tri-power (or six pack, for you Mopar guys) electronic fuel injection that added a ton of reliability and drivability to the car, which was fitted with a 440ci Magnum V8. Ever since, FiTech has been our go to partner for all things electronic fuel injection on nearly all of our giveaway builds. We’re excited to sit down with them this year and talk about everything new coming to the FiTech catalog in 2026.
  5. McLeod Clutch – McLeod has been a standout provider of aftermarket clutches for all kinds of makes and models, and their foray into classic muscle has make them a go-to choice on our platform. We’re looking forward to talking with them about what they have to offer to you in 2026.
  6. QA1 Suspensions – Like last year, we’ll be discussing all things suspension once again with QA1 and we’re super excited to see what new products they will be offering to enthusiasts in 2026. Their modern performance takes any RestoMod to the next level and we are proud to run their products on many of our giveaway builds.
  7. RingBrothers – We’re very interested to see what Ringbrothers has in store for us not just as an other-worldly RestoMod builder, but also as an aftermarket parts provider. We use products like their billet hood hinges which are absolutely bullet proof.

Like we said above, we’re bringing not one, but three RestoMod builds to SEMA this year and we’re pumped to give you guys an in person look at these pristine muscle cars from the Big Three. All three cars will be in the BluePrint Engines #81496 outdoor booth in Silver Lot, so be sure to swing by and grab a free t-shirt from us! Here’s what we’re bringing:

1967 Chevy Chevelle – This Lexus Nori Green, Blueprint Engines 427ci LS will have a gorgeous dark brown interior and a 6 speed automatic. The boys are cranking on getting this build done in time for the show.

1970 Dodge Charger – After Derrick Jones chose $100,000 over the RM30 ’70 Charger, we had to give the fans what they want and bring it back for a future sweepstakes. But not before repainting it tuxedo black which now gives it an all new menacing look. With a Blueprint Engines 426ci Gen 3 HEMI under the hood, it’s going to be a major crowd pleaser at SEMA.

1969 Ford Mustang – This Mustang was not built here at RestoMods, and was actually built by a hot rodder by the name of Tylor Whitt of Arizona. We purchased this Mustang from him to give away for RM32, which will be the active sweepstakes during SEMA. With a Blueprint Engines 347ci stroker under the hood, we’re stoked to include this car in the show as well, which would not have been possible without Tylor’s impeccable taste in engines.

SEMA 2025 Debuts

Get ready for an action-packed week as we cover the key vehicle debuts at SEMA 2025. Starting with performance icons like the TrickRides Mustang Unveil and a major build debut from Ringbrothers, who will also be featured in a reveal with GENTEX Classic Car Studio. We’ll cover the bare metal reveal of a 1966 Chevelle from HushMat & ZyCoat/GAP Industries, the ARMO/HRIA unveiling, and a custom car debut by Chip Foose combined with a CTEK Global Products Debut.

Muscle car fans can look forward to the Heidts/PureVision Mopar.
