The RM23 1968 Pontiac GTO Buildsheet
It’s not easy to find fully restored, numbers matching Pontiac GTOs these days. But we managed to find one for RM23, and it’s every bit RestoMod and pure restoration. It still has the exact 400ci Pontiac V8 that came with this GTO when it first rolled out of the factory, AND the numbers matching TH400 3 speed automatic transmission, complete with the “His & Hers” Hurst shifter option. This GTO has stood the test of time and it’s a true survivor. But like all survivors, they sometimes need a little modernization. So that’s why we partnered with Speedtech and Viking Performance to put the latest suspension technology to the test on this GTO, and it makes this classic muscle car handle with exemplary precision. But big Pontiac power and tight cornering requires stopping power, so we slapped on Wilwood 6 piston front and 4 piston rear disc brakes. This is our first GTO giveaway here at RestoMods and we know that you guys will love this car! Check out the buildsheet and gallery below, then get entered to win it here.
