Engine:
The heart of this 1969 Fastback Mustang is a Blueprint 347 Stroker engine, built on a 302 base, and dyno tested at an impressive 420 horsepower. This powerhouse is paired with Holley Sniper EFI, ensuring modern fuel efficiency and precision tuning for optimal performance. Whether you’re launching off the line or cruising at highway speeds, the engine delivers seamless power with every push of the pedal. The Tremec TKX 5-speed manual transmission provides a perfect match for the engine, giving you crisp, satisfying shifts. With a 3.50 axle ratio, the car delivers excellent acceleration without sacrificing top-end performance. A standout feature is the CVF accessory drive, which drives smoother, quieter performance. Combined with a modern Tanks Inc. fuel tank and in-tank fuel pump, this Mustang is as reliable as it is powerful.
Suspension & Handling:
The suspension system on this Fastback is a perfect blend of classic style with modern engineering. Upgraded with Total Control Products (TCP) coil-over conversion, it offers superior handling and ride quality for a muscle car of this caliber. The TCP adjustable strut rods and Varishock QuickSet 2 coilovers are designed to provide ultimate adjustability, allowing you to fine-tune your ride for maximum performance. The suspension upgrades also include TCP upper control arms with a dropped pivot shaft for improved geometry, along with TCP lower control arms for increased strength and control. The addition of a Chassisworks FAB9 axle and 12.19” Wilwood disc brakes with 6-piston calipers at both the front and rear ensure that this Mustang can stop as well as it accelerates. The result? A well-rounded, agile machine that performs like a modern sports car while still holding onto its muscle car roots.
Paint & Body Work:
The exterior of this ’69 Fastback is a standout with its stunning Guard Green paint, a unique color borrowed from the Ford F150 lineup. This vibrant yet classy shade gives the car a one-of-a-kind look while maintaining the bold and aggressive styling that the Mustang is known for. The paint is complemented by sleek, modern touches, including United Pacific sequential LED taillights and LED headlights that offer enhanced visibility while adding a touch of sophistication. The car rides on American Racing 427 Shelby Cobra wheels (18×8 in the front and 18×9.5 in the rear) wrapped in Nitto NT555 G2 tires for superior grip and handling. Whether on display or cruising down the highway, this Mustang turns heads with its beautiful, glossy finish and aggressive stance.
Interior: Restored and Modified
The interior of this 1969 Fastback Mustang has been fully restored and modified to provide a perfect blend of vintage aesthetics and modern comforts. The TMI sport seats are inspired by the classic Mach 1 style, offering the perfect combination of support and style for spirited driving. To further enhance the driving experience, a Veloce woodgrain steering wheel has been installed, adding a touch of retro charm. The Dakota Digital HDX analog/digital instrument system and gauges provide the driver with all the information needed while maintaining the classic look. Comfort is key with Classic Auto Air A/C ensuring that you stay cool during hot summer drives. The JVC stereo allows for modern tunes to accompany the roar of the engine, and the rearview mirror backup camera adds safety and convenience. Other upgrades include a TMI full-length sport console and Auto Custom Carpets, Inc. carpet kit, which round out the interior, creating an environment that’s both luxurious and practical.
