RestoMods was founded in 2014 in San Diego, CA. Originally an automotive blog website dedicated to all things restomods, our passion for restored and modified classics expanded into opening our own garage where we restore and modify classics and give them away in an online sweepstakes. We’ve given away over 1 million dollars worth of cars and cash and counting! See all of our past and present builds here.

Long ago the idea of modernizing classic cars was just a niche garage hobby, like ’65 Mustangs with Foxbody drivetrains or old Chevy trucks with Camaro front clips. We’ve come a long way since then: the power and reliability of modern V8 engines, the added safety of aftermarket coil-over suspension and 4 wheel disc brakes, and creature comforts like air conditioning kits have become a mainstream staple for all generations of classic car lovers. That’s what really makes these classics better than new!
