Amazing Custom 1949 Mercury Dwarf by Ernie Adams
Often at work we all occasionally get sucked into the Youtube vortex. You start off looking for a helpful tutorial on how to file your taxes and the next thing you know you’re watching Kelly Slater surf huge waves in Tahiti and watching rad car videos. Well somehow I came across this little gem about a 1949 Mercury Dwarf Car hand built by a man named Ernie Adams. He spent over five years building the custom dwarf and created almost everything in it by hand or modded existing parts to fit his epic project. This kind of thing makes you stop for a moment and realize how many talented and creative people are out there enjoying the process of making old new again or, in this case, creating a one-of-a-kind show stopper.
