Congratulations to James Troyer of Beaver Springs, PA!
We flew James into San Diego to claim his ultimate prize, the ’66 Chevelle LS2 swapped RestoMod AND $20,000 in cash. James was still recovering from his shock of winning when he stepped into the garage to see his Chevelle in person for the first time. Everyone reacts differently to winning, and each time we hand a winner the keys, we get a new, authentic reaction that puts a smile on our face. For James, this was probably the craziest and coolest thing to happen in his life so far. Being a young man who’s never owned a classic, it was a truly shocking and unforgettable experience. But he wasn’t nervous when he went out for his first drive — he RIPPED it! James brought his brother-in-law Arlin along, and we put them up in a hotel in the bay for the weekend. The car will be shipped to James in PA, where he eagerly awaits its arrival.
James also had one of the most talked-about winner phone calls in recent memory. His natural shock and skepticism of winning such a grand prize was entertaining to watch on the livestream. Check out that video below.
