Dream Car: Project Blackjack- 1968 Camaro LS3
The guys over at Smithy Customs have outdone themselves once again. The start to finish photos of their vehicle known as “Project Blackjack” are nothing short of inspirational. Heres what they had to say about the build:
“Project Blackjack is a 1968 camaro RS that has a complete Chris Alston chassis and set-up with Ridetech Select air ride shocks. The rear is a canted 4-link setup with splined swaybar and Fab9 Strange rearend. The powerplant is Smithy Customs modified LS3 with MAST M90 fuel management that’s rated at over 550HP, that is backed up with SPEC3 clutch and stage 2 TR6060 6 speed transmission. Projected completion date is mid-2015.”

ENGINE:
The 550 horsepower comes from a built LS3 engine backed by a Tick TR6060 Stage 2 six speed transmission with Eaton Posi differential and the brutal V8 voice of the Project Blackjack Camaro comes from a custom exhaust system by SS Stainless Works.
