With a starting price of $250,000, the EQUUS BASS 770 is far from your typical old school ride.
Those of you who love classic American muscle cars should fall for this beauty and her sleek familiar lines. Featuring many of the styling elements of the iconic cars from the sixties, the 2014 Equus Bass 770 is a unique take on the term “classic American muscle car.”

Out of the gate you’ll notice the influence of the Fastback Mustang, but there are some nods to the classic Camaros and Challengers for that same era. Unlike those muscle cars, the Equus Bass770 features all the modern technology that they lacked.
The car is built by the Detroit-based Equss Automotive and according to the company’s official website, the Bass 770 is juiced by a powerful, handcrafted 6.2-liter aluminum supercharged 640 horsepower V8 engine with 605 lb-ft. of torque. The motor is matted to a six-speed rear mounted dual-clutch transmission, which is good for 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 200 mph. Other performance features include Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, a magnetic suspension system, and a performance traction management system.

Interior features on the Bass 770 include black leather seats, and a radio/CD/DVD player, as well as a USB port. Delightfully, for your long hauls, the car is also equipped with cruise control.
While this doesn’t come with some of the amenities as a supercar, it’s not supposed to. Its a nod to the classics, a modern restomod if you will. Whatever side of the fence you are on, whats not to love about this ride?
