Heart Stopping 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS
The classic-car auction in Anaheim, CA (Nov 13-15) is shaping up to be a heart-stopper: 750 shiny, go-fast beauties and only one that made me stop scrolling. Black, chrome, and packing 630 hp—meet the 1967 Chevelle SS you see above.
VIN stamp “38” confirms this is a factory big-block car, born with the 396/375 hp mill. Today that’s gone—replaced by a 540 ci Merlin making 630 hp and enough chrome to blind the timing tower. Inside, cream leather and suede wrap a custom dash that looks more rocket-ship than ’67 Chevy. The build already owns multiple Good-Guys awards, People’s Choice (Nashville), Best of Show (Atlanta World of Wheels) and was a Year-One Cup finalist judged by Chip Foose.
If you want it, be in Anaheim Nov 13-15 and raise your paddle high. Miss it? Build your own—just leave a little chrome for the rest of us.
