Here's the latest from the Restomods Forum:
Here’s what’s happening inside the Restomods Forum:
There are some great conversations going on, and camaraderie is beginning to form up as more and more people sign in to show off their rides and ask for gear head driven advice. That, my friends, is the main benefit to joining the forum – being able to talk with like-minded people about the very things that make us go.
When I say camaraderie, what exactly do I mean? Well, Restomods.com reader Mike W posted pics of his two beautiful first gen Camaros, and offered advice on how to do an LSX swap for anyone who is interested in doing one.
Cool huh?
Personally, if I had a first generation F-body, an LS motor would definitely be on my wish list. And, in all actuality, it’s on my wish list for my ol’ pickup.
What else is going on inside the forum? Glad you asked…
Did you know that several people actually took the time to look at my ugly, beat up, old ’67 pickup and said it rocked? Now, I’m not inside their heads. But, I can say that I understand why they said it rocked – even though most would say that she’s a hunk o’ junk. These gear heads see beauty and potential in everything.
I’m the same way. Aren’t you? There’s only thing we’re missing: you…
Have you ever heard the old adage: more is merrier? Well, while that’s true for horsepower and torque (in my humble, but accurate opinion), the same is true for gear heads. I know some stuff about cars, but I’m far from an expert in every subject. I bet you have some advice stored up inside that round thing sitting above your shoulders, which you’d just love to share with like-minded people. Am I right?
Let’s see, we’ve covered camaraderie and knowledge, what else?
Oh yeah, an added bonus is the little thing called having your sweet ride featured on the Restomods.com website. Now, I can’t feature them all, and if I don’t get to yours, don’t hold it against me. With the amount of readership that we have, I’d be ripping my hair out if I tried to feature them all. But, car guys love to show off their cars. If your car is awesome in some way, you could be featured on our website where I personally do a write up about your car and feature it for the entire internet to see.
This means that your car can get some serious eyeball traffic (to the tune of tens of thousands of different eyeballs gawking at your beautiful car) during the course of its feature.
So, if you want your car featured on our site, the only way for it to happen is to get over to the forum and find me. Or, at least post a picture of your car in the “show and tell” area of the forum. I cruise around there every day of the week, just looking for the next masterpiece to feature. Does it belong to you?
In conclusion, we have people taking part in the forum each day of the week. But, I don’t think we could ever have too many knowledgeable people giving out advice. Why don’t you head on over and sign up? I’m not a betting man, but if I were, I’d bet you’d be glad you did.
