A Look Back At Jay Lenos Insane 1963 Ford Falcon
Jay Leno’s insane 1963 Ford Falcon is one of my favorite cars. In my opinion, it looks as good as any car ever made. With its smooth curves and early 60’s styling, it quickly became a favorite for everyone from house wives to surfers. But this isn’t your average Falcon and Jay is not one to have something totally dead-stock. His restomod has a 289 small block engine and a bonus 5th gear which help make his Falcon Sprint a classic that anyone would love to have as a project car. The Falcon had a good 10 year run from 1960-1970 with the early versions making it stand out above most other affordable cars of its day. Its curves, great gas mileage and wagon versions really set it apart and made it a very accessible vehicle for all incomes. I do hope one day to have one of my own but until then, I have the internet and Jay Leno’s garage to keep me stoked. Video: Jay Lenos Garage
