It’s the same dust-covered ’56 we spotlighted in our Peter Max “forgotten collection” story. After decades of neglect, it’s now fully restored and living its best life in Seinfeld’s stable.
Sharp-eyed viewers will notice a support convoy tailing the ’56 throughout the shoot. Turns out the car suffered a mechanical hiccup the day before filming; Jerry’s mechanic tailed them “just in case.” Here’s hoping the rest of the Peter Max herd finds equally caring garages.
