Original 1959 Corvette Found After 50 Years
After a young man’s uncle passed away he was contacted by lawyers representing his uncle’s estate letting him know that he was in the will and that he had a car waiting for him if he wanted it. Not sure what to expect, he traveled to the Wisconsin property and was taken to a barn on the property where an original 1959 Corvette had been sitting idle since the mid-sixties.
The plates on the car were last updated in 1977, after that the old uncle just let it lapse as it had already been off the roads for over a decade. There the classic C1 straight-axle sat collecting dust for decades until the nephew came to remove it from its dirty prison. While the car is prime for a full resto, the nephew decided to leave it all original and only opted to get it road worthy as an ode to his deceased uncle.
