Flawless Custom Aesthetics
Every panel, every weld, and every component was meticulously chosen to blend flawless show-car aesthetics with cutting-edge, race-ready performance.
The body is finished in stunning Porsche GT Silver paint by SV Body and Paint. Custom touches include a front chin spoiler and shaved emblems and firewall for a clean, custom look. The lighting is modernized with LED Headlights and Digitails LED tail lights.
Forced Induction Dominance: 427 LS Power
The engine installed in this Chevelle is a Blueprint Engines 427 cubic inch LS-based V8. To substantially increase output, a Magnuson TVS 2300 Supercharger was fitted; the unit features a smaller pulley for increased boost pressure.
Engine management is handled by a FiTech Ultimate LS Engine Management system. Fuel delivery is secured by a Tanks Inc. fuel tank utilizing an in-tank pump and FiTech Mini Surge tank to prevent starvation under heavy load. The motor is equipped with a Wegner front accessory drive and maintained at optimal temperature with a BeCool radiator supported by dual electric fans, ensuring reliable performance under sustained demand.
Six-Speed Control and Driveline
Controlling this immense power is a crucial factor, and we opted for the driver engagement only a manual transmission can provide. The 427 LS utilizes a Silver Sport Transmissions Magnum 6-speed manual gearbox, giving the driver direct control over the power curve with six forward gears.
For precise, rapid gear changes, the transmission is paired with an SST Advanced Friction twin disc clutch and controlled by an SST STX shifter topped with a Billet Aluminum Layback Handle. This setup provides superior feel and durability over automatic setups, ensuring the driver is fully connected to the experience. Power is then reliably transferred to the pavement via an aluminum driveshaft feeding a stout 9-inch Ford rear end equipped with full floater axles/hubs.
Full Race Chassis
A car this powerful requires a chassis capable of handling extreme forces. This Chevelle rides on a Full QA1 Level 3 double adjustable coilover suspension system, complete with tubular front and rear control arms and QA1 sway bars. This transforms the classic A-body into a precision corner-carving machine.
To ensure the Chevelle’s chassis could handle the extreme horsepower and enhanced handling, significant structural reinforcement was necessary. To this end, a Ridetech stainless steel Tiger Cage has been expertly integrated. This is a multi-point roll cage designed to drastically increase the chassis rigidity, minimizing flex during high-performance cornering and aggressive driving. Crucially, the Tiger Cage also provides a vital layer of safety, reinforcing the structure to bridge the gap between a high-performance street machine and a dedicated track car.
Massive Stopping Power
Stopping power is equally impressive. Huge Wilwood 14-inch 6-piston power disc brakes up front, complemented by Wilwood rear discs and a Wilwood master cylinder, guarantee rapid and reliable deceleration.
The car sits on aggressive American Racing 18-inch VF546 2-piece forged aluminum wheels, wrapped in sticky Falken Azenis RT615K+ tires (315 rear, 275 front), completing the performance package.
Custom Cockpit and Amenities
The interior is a masterpiece of custom craftsmanship, seamlessly integrating race safety with luxury. The entire cabin features a full custom leather and Alcantara interior by Arjay’s Upholstery, extending to Fesler Automotive door cards and the center console.
Occupants are held firmly in place by Sparco Carbon Fiber seats utilizing Sparco 4-point harnesses. The driver commands the road via a SPARC Industries billet leather-wrapped steering wheel mounted on a Flaming River tilt column, while monitoring performance through Autometer American Muscle gauges. Comfort comes courtesy of a VintageAir A/C system and a high-quality JL Audio 4-speaker sound system.
